Profile: I am a senior social worker specialising in Mental Capacity. I am the lead professional within my team for undertaking complex mental capacity assessments to support applications on matters for the Court of Protection. I also undertake Capacity Assessments, Lifetime Gifting Assessments, COP3s, PA14, and Testamentary Capacity Assessments.
I have completed additional learning at Bournemouth University focusing on the Mental Capacity Act in practice and Professional Use of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Furthermore, I have written for Research in Practice and provide support to newly qualified social workers.
