Social Work and Human Rights - from international to local contexts
Presented by BASW Cymru and Cardiff University, in association with the Palestine-UK Social Work Network
How do we as social workers pay attention to human rights, which are central to our profession? At this one-day event we will be considering examples from as far afield as children detained in Palestine and as close up as poverty in the UK , and provide food for thought about how social workers everywhere can incorporate the promotion of human rights into their practice.
