Embracing the Unknown: Finding Hope

Join us on the 28th February 2024 between 10:00 and 16:15, on MS Teams, for this year's annual SASW Mental Health Officer Conference. 

Focused on MHOs practicing in Scotland, the event features a mixture of keynote presentations and interactive workshops. The winner of the MHO Practice Award will also be announced.

Workshop A - Complex cases received by the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland enquiry line.

Workshop B - The needs of adults across the three acts: The Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003, The Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 and The Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.

Workshop C - COROs in the Community: A Highland Perspective. 

Workshop D - Alcohol Related Brain Damage - challenges in assessment and management.

Workshop E - The role of the MHO in community CCTO.

Workshop F - Child and adolescent mental health.
