BASW Independents - Managing Data & GDPR

This event is a great opportunity to learn and build confidence in managing data as an independent social worker. Whether you're just setting up as an independent or you are an experienced small business owner keen to check your knowledge and practice of data handling, we encourage all Independents to attend. 

This is part two of a two part event. Register to access the recording for part one and attend the live session of part two. 

What

This two part event will explore managing data and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Topics that we aim to cover within the session will include:

As part of the registration process, you will have the opportunity to ask questions in advance. There will also be a Q&A as part of the live event. 

Who

Independent social workers at any stage of setting up and running their business including colleagues new to independent practice and those with established businesses, The programme may also be of interest to social workers in employment and in particular those that work in more senior roles, with responsibilities of managing data and/ or contract independents. 

When

This webinar event will be hosted over two sessions on Monday 26 September and Monday 3 October from 12.00 - 14.00 (both dates). You only need to register once for both sessions and if you're not able to attend both dates, materials will be shared. 

How

Online registration is required with only one rate as materials will be shared should you only be available to attend one session. More details on the virtual platform will be shared closer to the event date.
