QEF

The Royal Society for Public Health

Census 2011 Northern Ireland

A census of population is normally taken every ten years and is carried out by the Census Office, part of the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA). The most recent Census took place on Sunday 27 March 2011. The census is undertaken by law and in accordance with an EU Regulation. It is taken as it provides the essential statistical information about the population and households for all parts of the country used by the Government, business and other professional research/consultancy organisations.

Coram Children's Legal Centre

Coram Children's Legal Centre provides free legal information, advice and representation to children, their families and carers, as well as international consultancy on child law and children's rights. For over 30 years, CCLC has helped thousands of children and young people through telephone advice lines, online information, individual case work and our latest innovation, live web chat. We offer expertise in all areas of family, child and education law, including: Domestic violence Child protection Immigration/asylum School admissions.

Family Fund

We are the UK's largest provider of grants to low-income families raising disabled and seriously ill children and young people. We help ease the additional pressures families face. We can help with essential items such as washing machines, fridges and clothing but can also consider grants for sensory toys, computers and much needed family breaks together.

Mentor

Our Vision: a world that provides opportunities for the healthy development of children and young people free from the harm caused by drug misuse Our Mission: to prevent drug misuse and promote the health and well being of children and young people. Mentor was born from the passionate conviction that prevention is better than cure. Treating people for alcohol and drug misuse is vitally important. But it is even more important to do all we can to protect young people in the first place.

National Family Mediation

National Family Mediation (NFM) is the only voluntary sector provider of family mediation. NFM is the umbrella organisation for its charitable member services in England and Wales which all offer high quality family mediation and supporting provision in all communities to help families through the process of family breakdown. NFM services specifically assist couples (married or unmarried) who are in or have been through the process of separation or divorce, and the children who are impacted by this.
