This is a diverse role focusing on recruitment and support of SASW members, stakeholder engagement, building local branch networks, developing policy and position statements, developing, designing and supporting social work professional identity initiatives within the Scottish Social Services context and leading on consultations responses.  The post holder(s) will work with a variety of partners including social workers, users of services, government representatives, media representatives, politicians, social work employers, educationalists and the third sector.

The role will support SASW’s capacity to shape and respond to national policy, research and practice development priorities.
