BASW England is looking for a motivated, committed, enthusiastic and knowledgeable social worker to join a dedicated, hardworking team.

Are you committed to promoting the voice of BASW members and the Social Work profession?

Working from home and willing to travel nationally you will join the BASW England professional team to work with staff and active members to develop BASW in England and to promote the BASW vision of social work to a variety of stakeholders including social workers, people with lived experience, government, civil servants, politicians, employers and the third sector. 

You must be committed to the highest standards of social work practice, have the enthusiasm, drive and determination to increase BASW membership and member engagement. You will work with the BASW England and BASW England National Standing Committee to contribute to the development of political and policy agendas, professional interest groups, develop and deliver activities, member benefits and be a media spokesperson. 

You must have the vision and passion to support our members. The post holder will need direct experience and knowledge of current policy and practice in children and family social work, a sound understanding of adult social work and be a registered social worker.
