SASW MHO Forum Anuual Study Conference 2017

@ScotsSW #ScotsMHO2017

The SASW MHO Forum Annual Study Conference "A Time For Us" took place on Wednesday 4 October 2017 at Thistle Suite, Murrayfield Stadium, Roseburn Street, Edinburgh.

Objectives and Outcomes

SASW was very pleased that our partners agreed to continue the ‘Collaborative’ which we started last year. It meant that we could once again offer you a full day of information, and of learning, sharing, reflecting, contributing, consolidating and developing the Mental Health Officer role in Scotland.

Scotland is good at partnerships, and the fact that we can come together under a joint agenda as individuals, organisations, and agencies evidences that actions speak louder than words when we talk about the importance of supporting this group of professionals.

The most important partnership of all is the one an MHO develops and nurtures with the people we work with and for, but we are also mindful of the impact of this vital work on the people who deliver it.

Therefore, we decided to call the 2017 Annual Study Conference…"A Time for Us"

All delegates will be sent a CPD certificate.

Who is the Collaborative?

SASW (Scottish Association of Social Work) in collaboration with The Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland, Scottish Social Services Council, Learning Network West, Social Work Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University and University of Strathclyde Humanities & Social Sciences.
