Reforming Long-term Care

During 2008 and 2009, the English Department of Health conducted a major review into the funding of, and future strategy for, adult social care. The review was also tasked with considering whether funding and service delivery arrangements should be the same for everyone with care and support needs or should vary according to, for example, age or type of need.
