Learning together: supporting inclusion of disabled children

Learning Together is a set of education resources for supporting disabled children in mainstream schools.

Learning Together covers inclusive learning, how children learn, impairments and conditionssubject areas of learning, transition, assessment and reporting.

Including disabled children in mainstream schools continues to challenge teachers. The focus for inclusion is often on physically accommodating a child in the classroom, but the requirement for evidence that they are making progress with learning is far more important as they move through the system. All children benefit from high-quality inclusive education, and with funding from the Department for Education we've put together this toolkit full of information and resources.
