Ensuring all disabled children and young people and their families receive services which are sufficiently differentiated to meet their diverse needs
This review focuses on the experiences of children and their families posing the greatest challenge to current service delivery and requiring most support. These are children from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities or refugee and asylum-seeking families, and those with the most needs or who live away from home. Through discussing and highlighting the needs of these groups, the review also draws out and makes explicit the issues for all disabled children and young people. The review also identifies the most promising directions for future research and development.
