Belfast Multi-Cultural Association Public Meeting

On 14 January the Belfast Multi-Cultural Association (BMCA) premises was subject to an arson attack, resulting in serious damage to the premises in Donegal Pass, Belfast. The PSNI are investigating this incident as a hate crime.

In response to the situation, BMCA is hosting a public meeting this evening, 20 January, at 6pm via Zoom. Members of the public, politicians and community leaders are invited to join in solidarity with BMCA and condemn the rising forms of racism and vicious attacks against the Black and Minority Ethnic Community in NI.

You can join the Zoom meeting via the following link — meeting ID: 815 5491 8881

The meeting will feature a variety of cross community speakers who will speak for the first 60 minutes. The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session and discussions on racism, hate crime and Islamophobia in Northern Ireland.
