The BASW Professional Support Service is a here to support BASW members, to help you debrief and reflect upon any current concerns you may have in a reflective space with one of our peer support coaches.

Hear from BASW CEO Ruth Allen on our new service for members

It is important that whilst supporting others, you can take time to look after your own wellbeing and mental health.

You can access up to three one-to-one video or telephone sessions with a trained volunteer peer coach.  This service is confidential and free for BASW members.

The service is here to support you and do get in touch even if you’re not sure what you need.

  • Peer support slots are available between 8am and 8pm weekdays.
  • When you have booked a slot with a volunteer peer support coach, you will receive an email to explain what will happen next, how the session will run and how you can access it.
