Our committee member, Toyin, and Karin provided an Interview Skills training for social workers from the BAME community.
Alison and Karin met with colleagues from University of Edinburgh to continue a conversation on support, self-care and resilience in the social workforce and how we can support a culture change where it is ok for social workers to need and accept support for themselves too.
We secured sponsorship from our third and final MSP and hope to set up our Cross-Party Group on Social Work when parliament returns after summer recess.
Delivered the third live session of Safe & Together Model ™ Blended Core training.
We spoke to social workers in West Dunbartonshire about the benefits of SASW membership.
