A call out to Black & Ethnic Minority social workers for essays, stories & poems

“Are you a Black or Ethnic Minority social worker? If so, we want to hear from you!”

BASW England and Kirwin Maclean Associates are collaborating to develop an anthology of Black and ethnic minority worker’s experiences. Contributions can be in the form of essays, stories and poems and the format will be similar to the books:

‘The Good Immigrant’ and ‘IC3’, but strictly for qualified social workers. All the proceeds from this will go to the Social Workers Benevolent Fund charity.

This book is needed now more than ever, and we would like to get this project moving as quickly as possible, so we would appreciate that all contributors closely follow the minimal requirements above.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Please send your contributions (with no more than 2500 words) to the Editor: wayne.reid@basw.co.uk before 11 September 2020.
