BASW chair to join Women’s March against Trump

Demonstrations to take place across UK on Friday

BASW chair Gerry Nosowska will be joining tens of thousands of demonstrators at the Women’s March in London on Friday to protest the state visit of Donald Trump.

The President of United States’ arrival has ignited the organisation of number of mass marches across the UK, including another in London by the Stop Trump group and further demonstrations on Friday evening in Glasgow and Saturday lunchtime in Edinburgh.

The Women’s March promises to be the biggest though, and for any BASW members wishing to take part the march will assemble at 11am outside the BBC offices in Portland Place.

It shall leave at 12.30pm to move along Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Whitehall, culminating in a rally at Parliament Square.

Members who cannot make the rally can still be involved through social media using the twitter handle @womensmarchlon and hashtag #BringTheNoise
