I have worked in a local authority setting for 16 years with people with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, including dementia, life-limiting and ASD conditions. I have supported those who are or have been in the criminal justice system. I have experience supporting Armed-Forces and ex-serving members. Besides assessing for care needs under the Care Act, I undertake mental capacity assessments. I have written assessments and reports for the Court of Protection. I have provided support and advice for those wishing to set up Lasting Power of Attorney. I have experience in writing and delivering training on the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS.
