Profile: I qualified in Social Work in 1996, and am passionate and experienced in Adult safeguarding practice. I have a specific interest in institutional abuse, assessing risk and mental capacity, multi-agency working and 'serious concerns' procedures. I have worked across all social care groups; mental health, acquired brain injury, Dementia, physical and learning disabilities. I previously worked with Children with Disabilities too, including specialist fostering placements, schooling and health support. I am a BIAI have supported students on placements, as well as lead safeguarding workshops at their university. I have gathered information and prepared for Coroners Court.
