World Mental Health Day at UCLAN, M&K Cinema

A Star is Born screening and pre-film event

We are inviting you and or your colleagues to attend a showing of A Star is Born (2018 version, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga) as this film tells the story of depression and alcoholism.

The theme is communicated through an interesting back story that focuses on the pressures of success, ageing and a declining career – the film is critically acclaimed and the themes are handled in a poignant and sensitive way.

Please see link to IMDB - A Star is Born (2018)

The film will be free of charge, and played in our M&K Cinema in Foster Building.

There will be a pre-film performance and talk starting at 15:15 and the film will be due to start around 16.00 (estimated running time, 2hrs 15mins).

It would be wonderful if you could attend, and please invite other interested people.

In partnership with UCLan, BASW and the NFHW.
