Social Prescribing - Messages for Social Work
We are very sorry this event has been cancelled due to the evolving situation regarding Nova coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to ensure the health and safety of all during this period and hope to hold a similar event in the future.
Speaker: Dr. Frances Howie, Senior Lecturer and Public Health Consultant.
Frances will be drawing on her considerable experience from within the health service in this session. This session will be held during World Social Work Week and will benefit all Social Workers including students who want to gain more of an understanding of the the Social Work role in relation to Social Prescribing.
Expected learning points:
- Understand the development of Social Prescribing, locally.
- Hear an update on current NHS development on Social Prescribing.
- Have a chance to hear about the impact locally and on the system.
