The Bigger Picture: Policy, Practice and Lived Experience

This event is delivered by SASW in collaboration with the Scottish Government, Social Work Scotland, SSSC and Learning Network West.

This year’s annual SASW MHO conference will focus on the “The Bigger Picture” – the lived experiences of users of mental health services in Scotland, and how these intersect with government policy and social work practice.

We will also hear an update on the BASW project on Social Approaches to Mental Health from Ruth Allen, CEO, as well as presentation of the Wilma MacDonald MHO of the Year Award.

There will be time for discussion, networking and information gathering throughout the day. Lunch will be provided.
