Operation Encompass

An exploration of the damage caused to children when there is domestic abuse in the home

This event aims to raise awareness of the impact of domestic abuse on child development and wellbeing and to teach social workers how to use ‘Operation Encompass’, a multi-agency tool used to ensure that schools have timely information about all police-attended incidents of domestic abuse, no matter where in the world the child lives. In being aware of this tool, social workers will enable more robust partnership working.
