Speakers:

Liz Davies, Emeritus Reader in Child Protection, London Metropolitan University since July 2016 and founder of Islington Survivors Network Liz has been a social worker and Social Work Manager since 1972 and Child Protection Manager in London Borough of Harrow 1992-2002. Liz exposed the Islington child abuse in children's homes 1992 and her current research and practice relates to the collation of evidence from survivors of child abuse to assist justice and healing, policy and practice relating to child abuse and to support campaign work with survivors of child abuse. A Core Participant to the national Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, Liz is a member of British Association of Social Work (BASW) specialist children and family policy group and member of Editorial Board of Professional Social Work magazine.

Fiona Linn, representative of BASW's Social Workers Union (SWU) the specialist union for social workers.
