Child Sexual Exploitation: A rights and relationship-based approach to practice webinar
Webinar
Presenter: Professor Michelle Lefevre
The Children and Families Practice, Policy and Education Group will be running this lunchtime webinar which will offer the following learning outcomes :
- Recognise and acknowledge ways in which young people’s rights to voice, privacy and autonomy may sometimes conflict with their rights to safety, guidance and protection.
- Develop ways of resolving the tensions arising from conflicting views within and across professional systems, and with parents and young people.
- Work in a relational, child-centred and collaborative manner to involve young people as partners in their own protection.
- Harness organisational resources to further develop their reflective practice in this field.
