Building a movement for social approaches to mental health

An online conference for social workers, people with lived experience and others in the South West of England

The Movement for Social Approaches in Mental Health is a collaboration that involves people with lived experience of services and mental health professionals. The movement has organised this conference in partnership with AWP Mental Health Trust social workers and the South West Principle Social Workers network. The conference will explore social approaches to mental health and how these can develop out of co-production between people with lived experience of mental health needs and mental health workers.

We will explore how better understanding of social approaches can lead to better support and better protection of human rights.
