Professor Anna Gupta (joining by Skype) is co-author with Professor Brid Featherstone of the BASW commissioned report on Adoption, published January 2018.

Anna Gupta is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work in the Department of Social Work at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is involved with the MSc in Social Work, post-qualifying and doctorate level programmes in the department. Anna is a qualified and registered social worker with extensive experience of child care and protection social work, including work as a children's guardian and expert witness in public law family court proceedings. She has researched and published work on various aspects of child welfare, including on working in the family courts, with families living in poverty, child neglect and social work with black and minority ethnic families.
