About Care4Calais
Care4Calais is a volunteer-run charity delivering essential aid and support to refugees in Northern France, Belgium and the UK, believing in a fair and tolerant British society and advocate for a welcoming and inclusive attitude towards refugees.
Operating year round from Calais, their focus is to provide warm clothing, bedding, food and medical assistance to people in desperate need. They also provide social support and interaction, including language lessons and sports and music workshops. In the UK they provide newly arrived refugees with direct support in the form of clothes, shoes, mobile phones and other essentials and help them to access services such as legal aid, English lessons or public transport.
