This group provides an expert focus for social work students and newly qualified social workers
Student & NQSW Group Meeting
In this meeting, students & NQSW social workers will gather together to solidify their vision for 2021 social work, provide a safe space for ongoing COVID-19 issues, and take steps toward campaigning for social justice and social work education matters.
The Student & NQSW Group gives a voice to students and newly qualified social workers.
This involves:
- peer advice/support through quarterly meetings held via Microsoft Teams
- various continuous professional development opportunities
- ways to shape BASW’s priorities
Students and NQSW’s are the future of social work and so it is important this group shares knowledge and ideas with other groups and wider social work groups to assist forging a positive future for social work and social workers.
