BASW England Black Country Event: Working with men across the life course with Professor Brid Featherstone

This presentation will explore the challenges facing men from a range of backgrounds at different stages of the life course. It will discuss the research evidence and highlight the practice issues for social workers in child protection, mental health and adult social care settings.

Professor Brid Featherstone has extensive experience of researching men's experiences of child protection and family support services. She is currently Co-Investigator on a Nuffield funded project on rethinking practice responses to domestic abuse in child protection.
