BASW England Black Country branch event: "You'll make a good social worker but you think too much" - What works when trying to implement evidence in Adult Social Care

The Black Country branch welcome Professor Jon Glasby to speak about the new evidence centre IMPACT (Improving Adult Care Together) - focused on what is being learned about barriers to innovation in adult social care and lessons around how to support innovation and change.

Jon is a qualified social worker, Professor of Health and Social Care at the University of Birmingham and is the Director of the IMPACT centre which has been funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), part of UK Research and Innovation, and the Health Foundation, and will be the first Centre of its kind in the UK.
