'The Social Work Role in Domestic Abuse'
This event will build on the success of those held in Edinburgh and Inverness in 2017. It is being held in partnership between the Scottish Association of Social Work and Scottish Women's Aid, with support from Equally Safe in Higher Education at Strathclyde University.
The event will be an opportunity to explore emerging themes of good practice in Scotland regarding domestic abuse. We will draw on what we know about what works, and what women and children tell us. The focus will be on what social workers can do to promote the rights and needs of survivors. There will be a variety of guest speakers and workshops.
To book a place please email firstname.lastname@example.org Closing date for booking is Monday 5th February.
