The T2A Alliance

Parents against Child Sexual Exploitation (Pace) UK (formerly CROP)

Pace works alongside parents and carers of children who are ‘‘ or are at risk of being ‘‘ sexually exploited by perpetrators external to the family. We offer guidance and training to professionals on how child sexual exploitation affects the whole family.

The National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC)

The National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC) is the umbrella charity for all those involved in palliative, end of life and hospice care in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Palliative Care of People with Learning Disabilities (NNPCPLD)

The PCPLD Network is a voluntary organisation. In 1998, a small group of learning disability and palliative care professionals came together, concerned by their experience that people with learning disabilities who were facing a life-limiting illness did not seem to access the same services or receive the same quality of service as the rest of the population. Together, they established the National Network for Palliative Care of People with Learning Disabilities (NNPCPLD), which later changed its name to the PCPLD Network.

The CLA works with all care leavers over the age of 16. We are guided by the views of our membership and thus have a wide range of areas of interest and activity. Restored is an international Christian Alliance working to transform relationships and end violence against women. We aim to answer two questions of 'where is the Church?' and 'where are the men in the church?' when it comes to ending violence against women. The BEARR Trust

European platform against poverty and social exclusion

With more than 80 million people in the EU at risk of poverty ‘‘ including 20 million children and 8% of the working population ‘‘ the European Platform against poverty and social exclusion sets out actions to reach the EU target of reducing poverty and social exclusion by at least 20 million by 2020. Launched in 2010, the platform is part of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

Munro Review of Child Protection

On 10 June 2010, ministers announced the launch of a review of child protection, headed by Professor Eileen Munro. The Secretary of State for Education asked Professor Munro to conduct a review of the system, with a focus on strengthening the social work profession, to put them into a better position to make well-informed judgements based on up-to-date evidence in the best interests of children and free from unnecessary bureaucracy and regulation.

CCPAS (The Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service)

Pause

Every local authority has a group of women who have numerous short interval pregnancies that result in the removal of their children into care. This phenomenon is acknowledged but remains currently un-challenged on a wide scale. Pause aims to break this cycle by intervening at a point when the women have no children in their care, creating a space in which women are supported to reflect and develop new skills and responses.

The National Working Group for Sexually Exploited Children

he National Working Group for Sexually Exploited Children and Young People (NWG) has developed as a support group for individuals and service providers working with children and young people who are at risk of or who experience sexual exploitation (CSE).
