By working on the app with its developers, BASW is able to make the Social Work Companion available for free to all BASW members, instead of the usual price of £2.99. This is a new member benefit for being a part of the leading professional organisation for social workers across the UK.

Our new website now offers more content, easier navigation, a brighter design and more consistency.
It also features dedicated landing pages for all four UK countries, independent social workers, the Social Workers Union and BASW’s international work.

While visiting the site, please try searching our new knowledge resource, allowing you to view a wealth of useful information linked to your practice.
Some content is restricted to BASW subscribers only, including access to PSW online, a 30% discount in the BASW bookshop and an array of member services.
Please login, using your old MyBASW login details OR by registering for the first time.
To login, sign in at the top right of any page within the website. If you haven’t ever registered for MyBASW, you just need to click on ‘Register’ (again, you can find this near the top right of the page) and then sign up. All you need is your name and membership number.
New BASW Jobs site launched
BASW has launched a new jobs board, which is free to use for all jobseekers and offers a host of vacant social work posts across England.
You can find jobs related to specific criteria and in particular areas of the country.

If you are looking for a social work job, a change in direction or just a more fulfilling role, you can visit www.basw.co.uk/jobs to search our database and apply online for posted jobs. You can also sign up to receive email alerts of new job postings matching your requirements.

We are relaunching our e-bulletins for members, giving them a better structure and a much fresher appearance. We don’t want you to miss them though, so to make the most of the updates we send to your inbox, you need to do three things:

1. Make sure we have your email address. And if we have an email address for you, are you sure it is the right one or the best one? Email membersupport@basw.co.uk to update your details in seconds.
2. Make sure BASW emails don't end up in your junk folder – check your junk or spam regularly to ensure BASW emails haven’t been wrongly categorised and then click the setting that says ‘mark as not junk’ so future emails don’t go the same way. You might also want to check with your employer that they don’t quarantine our legitimate emails. If you have problems, why not set up or use an alternative email address – Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc?
3. When you do receive an email from us, make sure you always click on ‘download pictures’, to ensure you view the bulletin with all the images and colour that make it more presentable and easy to read.
