BASW members have access to MyBASW, a website just for members containing a range of materials and resources. Here you will find the CPD tool which allows you to capture your learning and development activities electronically. When it comes time to submit your PRTL record, all of your CPD data can be printed in the GSCC template format, ready for submission. By incorporating this tool as part of your continuous professional development, you will find it much easier to maintain your record between registration dates.We know that as a professional, you’re committed to a high standard in social care practice. Whilst it’s your responsibility to keep your skills and knowledge up to date we’ve created the CPD tool to help turn that accountability into an opportunity to achieve your development goals.

Why use the CPD tool?
We recommend you review your learning activities every 12 months before setting objectives for the coming year. Reflecting on the past and planning for the future in this way makes your development more methodical and easier to measure.
