SASW 2009, March Respone to: Improving the Lives of Children in Scotland - are we there yet?
Response to the Consultation on the Scottish Government's response to the 2008 Concluding Observations from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child
BASW welcomes the Scottish Government proposals to comply with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. In this response we will comment on the issues that are of particular concern to Social Workers in Scotland although we applaud many of the other suggestions working towards implementation of the Convention.
