SASW 2008, May Response to: Changes to the fitness requirements for Providers, Managers and Employees in care services regulated by the Care Commission Introduction
BASW welcomes the consultation on the proposed changes to the fitness requirements for people who provide care services regulated by the Care Commission.
BASW believes that people are capable of change and that whatever guidance is given about suitability of employment we should have discretion to make a judgment about a person’s suitability for employment if we are have access to the enhanced disclosure.
