The report contains information on the characteristics of those who were registered by the GSCC, the source and number of referrals to the GSCC, and the types of the misconduct that we heard. It also highlights what we have learnt from dealing with large volumes of applications for registration, as well as working as a regulator within an international context, introducing and maintaining a system for post- registration training and learning, assessing the physical and mental health of social workers, registering social work students and working with other agencies such as the Independent Safeguarding Authority.
