Systematic review of models of analysing significant harm

The aim of this review was to identify, critically appraise, and evaluate the potential role of all available tools for assessing/analysing data about the likelihood of significant harm to children.

We aimed to identify the adequacy of these tools in terms of their consistency with the principles of the Assessment Framework (Department of Health, Department
for Education and Employment and Home Office 2000), and their potential to be used as part of a process of Structured Professional Judgment and their rigour.
