Religious Discrimination in Britain

A review of research evidence, 2000-10

In reported experiences of discrimination, both religion and ethnicity can be involved, as can other protected characteristics. For much of the period under review when different laws existed for different equalities grounds, one of the difficulties was that individuals had to choose on which ground they might pursue their case when the lived reality might have been much more complex.
