Professional Boundaries: Guidance for Social Workers

This guidance uses real examples of conduct hearings where social workers have been found guilty of misconduct for professional boundaries violations. These case studies are used as an aid to provoke reflection and discussion about behaviour inside and outside of work, including discussion on ‘grey areas’. We hope this will be used by social workers and by their teams to reflect on and improve their practice.
