The health and social care experiences of black and minority ethnic older people

A Race Equality Foundation Briefing Paper

Many research studies do not distinguish between older and younger people from minority ethnic groups, making it difficult to establish the effects of other influences on health, such as income and age. Those that do have found that older people from black and minority ethnic groups tend to report poorer health than their white counterparts.
