Coping with Court
Despite rising applications to take children into care and a widespread public perception that it is all too easy, removing vulnerable children from abusive parents is a challenging process and social workers must be well prepared for the rigours of giving expert evidence in court under intense scrutiny from parents, legal counsel and, potentially in the future, the media too.
