Rebecca Joy Novell – Newly Qualified Social Worker – advice for social work students just starting out.
There were points at which I didn't think I would be, but I am officially now a qualified Social Worker. I completed my Masters in Social Work in July of this year at The University of Sheffield. The two year course challenged me academically, practically and emotionally and is undoubtedly my proudest achievement to date. With that in mind, I have written down the key pieces of advice that I hope will make the course as enjoyable as possible for all the new social work students embarking on this exciting journey:
