BASW Child Sexual Exploitation seminar summary - 10 December 2012
The event run by the BASW practice group on CSE was well attended by a wide audience of social workers, working in a range of settings, including local authority, Cafcass, the third sector with some independent social workers also present. It aimed to highlight current thinking on the subject of Child Sexual Exploitation and to share practice among the audience. Two break-out sessions were built into the programme with the first focusing on barriers to this work. Some key points came out of the discussion with many contributors raising similar issues.
