June 2012 - BASW England Consultation Response to OFSTED/HMIP Consultation – Inspection of Secure Training Centres
This is a consultation document on proposals for a revised framework for the inspection of secure training centres. Ofsted and Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Prisons seek the widest possible range of views from those who have an interest in, or expertise relating to, secure training centres so that the inspection framework takes proper account of the needs and circumstances of interested parties. Above all, the framework must assure the quality of outcomes for the young people who are placed in secure training centres.
