Social workers urged to sign e-petition against having to pay twice to register
BASW is urging all social workers to sign an e-petition aimed at preventing social workers having to pay their registrations fees twice next year as fears emerged that some practitioners in England will pay money to both the General Social Care Council (GSCC) and its successor body the Health Professionals Council (HPC).
BASW is the UK professional association for social work, led by and accountable to a growing population of 14,000 social worker members.
