The CPEL (Continuing Professional Education & Learning) Implementation Group has now commenced work. This is led by the Care Council for Wales and includes BASW Cymru deputy chair Carol Davies as the profession’s representative. This is a key piece of work which will see the development of a formalised career structure and post-qualifying training pathway for all social workers in Wales.
