Free mobile app for BASW members
Hundreds of BASW members have already downloaded FOR FREE the Social Work Companion app, offering access to a wealth of social work related information directly from their phones, tablets and mobile devices.
The app includes access to a host of content, such as legislation relevant to a particular case, useful local resources that might be of benefit to a service user, links to job vacancies, the latest news, plus a prominent button taking you to BASW’s website and to Professional Social Work magazine.
Useful resources for your job, and helpful links to your association, all in one app – completely free to BASW members, instead of the usual price of £2.99.
The app is currently only available for Apple products – iPhone and iPads – or Android devices.
Please note there are specific windows each week when members can access the Social Work Companion through the App Store without charge. The last window for 2012 is on the 20th December, starting at 12 noon and finishing at midnight.
