New push on BASW transparency

A motion proposing greater BASW transparency in “opening up its business to members” was passed unanimously at BASW's AGM.

Moved by the Black Country Branch and supported by BASW Council, the motion asked that a strategy be put in place to improve transparency relating to meetings and decision making. The motion called for “publication of agendas and minutes of meetings and to seek members views on key issues before decisions are made”.
