Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Services

Cafcass looks after the interests of children involved in family proceedings. We work with children and their families, and then advise the courts on what we consider to be in the best interests of individual children.

Children and Young People’s Health Outcomes Forum

The Children and Young People’s Health Outcomes Forum is an independent group of experts from local government, the NHS and charities that is helping to develop a new strategy for improving care for children and young people. The Forum will engage with and hear views from children, parents, carers and wider families as well as health professionals before making recommendations to Government.

The role of the Children's Commissioner was created by the Children Act 2004 and is there to promote the views of children and young people from birth to 18 (up to 21 for young people in care or with learning difficulties).

The Children's Commissioner for Wales works to make sure that children and young people are kept safe and that they know about and can access their rights.

Children's Rights Alliance for England (CRAE)

CRAE protects the human rights of children by lobbying government and others who hold power, by bringing or supporting test cases and by using regional and international human rights mechanisms. We provide legal information, raise awareness of children’s human rights, and undertake research about children’s access to their rights. We mobilise others, including children and young people, to take action to promote and protect children's human rights. Each year we publish a review of the State of children's rights in England.

Childrens' Society

We are committed to helping vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, including safeguarding children in care and young runaways. We give a voice to disabled children, help young refugees to rebuild their lives and provide relief for young carers.

ChiMat

The national Child and Maternal Health Observatory (ChiMat) provides information and intelligence to improve decision-making for high quality, cost effective services. It supports policy makers, commissioners, managers, regulators, and other health stakeholders working on children's, young people's and maternal health

Chronic Poverty Research Centre

The Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC) was an international partnership of universities, research institutes and NGOs, which completed its ten-year programme in 2011. Our research has deepened understanding of the causes of chronic poverty, and provided analysis and policy guidance on the reduction of chronic poverty.

Co-ordinated Action Against Domestic Abuse (CAADA)

Co-ordinated Action Against Domestic Abuse (CAADA) is a national charity supporting a strong multi-agency response to domestic abuse. Our work focuses on saving lives and saving public money. CAADA provides practical help to support professionals and organisations working with domestic abuse victims. The aim is to protect the highest risk victims and their children – those at risk of murder or serious harm.

Coalition for the Removal of Pimping (CROP)

CROP’s substantial experience, specialist expertise and family-centred approach to tackling child sexual exploitation means that it can support, encourage and enable parents and families to be actively involved in responding to the devastating, complex and multiple issues that arise as a result of the sexual exploitation of their child.

Commission for Rural Communities

Common Assessment Framework
